- Years ago I
couldn't stand or walk for more than just a few minutes before my feet
would start to ache and my knees and back started to bother me too.
I tried everything
from good shoes and tennis shoes, Dr scholl's pads, flat
orthotics, gel insoles, water insoles and all
the newest "fads' on the market to help my feet. Each comforted
me to a degree, but did very little to correct the way I
walked. And then my heels and lower back were starting to ache almost constantly.
Years after trying over-the-counter products (nearly all of them) and
getting ones made by a Doctor (which I couldn't adjust to either), I gave up and just resigned myself to the pain of my awkward walk and limp.
- Then in the 80's by happenstance I came across a Foot Specialist at a Trade Show. He did a test of my feet and showed me how I was walking. I put his arch supports in my shoes and to be honest, they were uncomfortable at first.
But then he told me "that's normal when you first put them in your
shoes......go walk for 15 minutes and come back." I did as he
asked.
- After
a few minutes, I still felt like I had an 'extra something' in my
shoes which shouldn't be there (it just felt odd at first).
When I told the Foot Specialist how it felt, he laughed and said "it
was quite normal to feel that way at first, but the feeling goes away pretty quickly." He said "the sensation was just the three major arches
of my feet being supported correctly for the first time". He also
told me that "my feet weren't used to such support yet."
After a few minutes more, he asked me how my heels and lower back
felt. I told him "I originally came into his booth limping
because my right heel was killing me. Now THE PAIN IN MY HEEL AND BACK IS GONE!" I got so much relief from the pain in my heels I started marketing the product in 1987.
- Do you know of anyone who might like to know about a product like that?
Our Custom "Soft Flex" Orthotic
Our Orthotic is NOT molded to your foot as doing so would copy the already problematic foot. Instead,
your foot molds to our Orthotic, putting your foot into a more
ideal position. This will allow your foot to reshape and
mold itself into the correct position, (essentially re-balancing, re-aliginging and correcting your problematic foot).
Think about that for a second..... Your foot wants to flex and move, not just be held in one position. What feels better: walking on hard non-flex cement or soft plush grass? Usually
grass is better, because it flexes with your foot. That's why
you'll like our "Soft Flex" Custom Orthotic. The
customization is in the dimensions of the orthotic matched up with the
dimensions of your foot and its arches: height, length and width.
Important Note: If
one or both of your feet are deformed from birth (commonly known as a
"club foot"), our Orthotic is not ideal for
you. Instead go get a cast molded type of orthotic. If you
have had surgery with pins inserted (not allowing your foot to move),
you'll also will need a cast molded type of orthotic. Our Orthotic is good for anything you see on our site under "Foot Problems". Since
our "Soft Flex's" are versatile, you should be able to
walk, run, dance, play sports, work as well as
exercise in them.
Again,
like a tall building with an unsteady foundation, if you're feet
are out of alignment, your entire body can suffer as a
result. Your ankles can break down, knees bend
inward, hips drop and your back trying to compensate. This
reasults in a straining of muscle groups stemming all the way from the
lower back on up to your shoulders. But with our "Soft Flex's", your
heels and ankles, knees and hips will be straightened,
realigned and strengthened again. Our product is more than just a
chiropractic visit for your back therefore. You will be readjusting your entire body into a better balance with stability and amazing comfort.
Our "Soft Flex" product is an exclusive product too. You can only
get it at one of our Two store locations, a trade show we are
participating in, or here on our exclusive website.
Our "Soft Flex" Orthotics are made of surgical nylon. The durable semi-flex material is the same as what is used for knee cap and hip replacements. It is made to last at least 10 to 12 years. It flexes just like your foot. You can even bend it in half and it will spring back to it's original position (this means it even has 'memory'). The orthotic supports ALL three major arches of the foot (side, middle, and front behind the ball of your foot). This makes them extremely comfortable for use in nearly every activity.
